Equipment to the beer fermentation, maturation and yeast regeneration
The beer fermentation system includes the beer production tanks and all equipment needed for the beer fermentation process :
- Tanks for the primary beer fermentation : Opened fermentation vats, cylindrically-conical fermenters, cylindrical fermenters.
- Tanks for the secondary beer fermentation : Pressure cylindrically-conical fermenters, pressure cylindrical fermenters, lager beer tanks.
- Tanks for the final conditioning of beer : Pressure tanks for the final conditioning of beer. Pressure beer tanks are used for the carbonization of beer, hops extraction into beer, filtration of beer and for filling of beer into bottles, kegs, cans.
- Complete fermentation sets : The sets include tanks for both primary and secondary beer fermentation, cooling system, measurement and control system, hoses and valves.
- Yeast processing system : Storage tanks for yeast, yeast regeneration tanks, yeast propagation stations
- Components for beer production tanks : valves, tank spraying balls, sample valves, pressure valves, relief valves, fill level indicators, manometers, fittings and other armatures.
What is beer fermentation ?
Fermentation process of beer takes place in special fermentation vessels (fermentors) which can have various forms, from enormous cylindrically-conical vessels, through open stone or stainless steel vessels, to wooden vats. After the wort produced in the brewhouse machine is cooled and aerated, brewer´s yeasts are added to it, and wort begins to ferment in fermentors. It is during this stage (primary fermentation) that sugars won from the malt are converted into alcohol and carbon dioxide, and the product can be called beer for the first time. In next stage (secondary fermentation) beer is naturaly carbonated in the maturation tanks in low temperature and under pressure. After this stage the beer is usualy ready to consuming.
