Primary fermentation tanks for cider production

Fermentors and tanks intended to the primary fermentation of cider

Fermentors and tanks intended to the primary fermentation of fruit juice

We produce and offer several types of the fermentors intended to the primary fermentation of fruit juice during the alcoholic fruit beverage production. Cylindrically-conical fermenation tanks as a modern cider fermentation technology, simplified cylindrical or conical fermentors with low price, plastic fermentors and barrels made of polyethylene and some other types of the fermentation vessels as well.

Our offer for the primary fermentors :

Cylindrical fermentors – simple technology of covered fermentors for the primary fermentation of all cider types

Cylindrically-conical fermentation tanks – modern universal fermenters which allows both primary and secondary fermentation of cider in the same vessel

Plastic fermentation vessels – simple fermentors intended to the primary fermentation small volumes of cider

Compact fermentation units – Compact mobile devices which include all what is needed to the fermentation, maturation and final conditioning of cider

Complete fermentation sets – fully equipped fermentation kits with fermentors, cooling system and temperature control system

About the primary fermentation of cider

The fruit crushing and pressing process, which is the first phase of the production cycle of cider, is followed by a second phase, called the cider fermentation process. Fermentation of fruit juice is a manifestation of metabolism of special yeast, which is added after the oxidation to the fruit juice immediately after it is transported to fermentation vessels.

Entire cider fermentation process includes two phases : The primary cider fermentation and the secondary cider fermentation.

The task of special yeast in the primary fermentation stage is to convert part of the sugars in the fruit juice into alcohol. At the set degree of fermentation the fermentation process is interrupted (not to be the full conversion of 100 % sugar).
